My local government, Orumba north received a total of N1.142b( the amount would be higher in Idemili north, Aguata and Ihiala LGAs which receive the highest allocation) from the FG in 2016. In four years of Obiano's administration Orumba north would have received a total of N4.5b from FAAC allocation.
Yet, no single road has being built in Orumba north by Obiano, No new school has been built, equipped or renovated. No primary health care center or secondary care center has been built or equipped to meet the aspirations of ndi Orumba. No portable water, not one single beneficial infrastructure has been added to my LGA by Obiano.
What does Obiano do? Seeing that he will lose this election on the grounds of gross incompetence be begins to build civic centers, one room abattoir and 2 blocks of rooms which he personally valued at N20m even when it costs less than N5m to construct in few communities. What business those a governor have building civil centers in communities?
If N4.5b is split to all the communities in Orumba north,each community would get N28100000. Only 7% of this is being attempted to be utilized in the form of inflated and dubious projects and some uninformed minds clap. Where's the remaining 83%?. We consistently being swindled by our own government. Enough is enough.
If Obiano can't use our FAAC allocation to develop our local government, he should stop wasting it onobscenities and luxuries
